About Iva

My own life transitions, coupled with my professional experience and educational background in law, social work, vocational rehabilitation, counselling, and mediation have allowed me to easily relate to, connect, and work with a wide range of challenges and people.

As a part of my career journey, I have provided services in various professional environments, including integrative medicine, community counselling and employment, higher education, EAP, corporate services, rehabilitation and medico-legal sectors.

In my practice, I have worked with a range of clients inclusive of women, men, couples, secondary and post-secondary students, social workers, high level executives, lawyers, physicians, nurses, artists and individuals and families affected by personal injuries. To maintain adequate level of service, I participate in regular clinical consultations.

Prior to entering the world of counselling and psychotherapy, I obtained Law degree and worked in the area of private international law and international estates.

Today, I remain connected with the legal field by providing counselling and psychotherapy services to Juris Doctor, Professional Graduate & International Programs at Osgoode Hall Law School; and by conducting medico-legal vocational disability evaluations in the field of personal injuries.

I speak fluent Serbian, Croatian and basic Spanish.
